I love my friends

I have been thinking about my roleplaying again. I love it and I think I can finally articulate why: I have friends through them that don't give a shit about my neurology.

Throughout my required schooling, I have always been labeled the weird one. I'm the one who couldn't understand a joke, the one who had the entire "Bryant Compendium of Useless World Knowledge" stuck in her head. I'm the one who stayed awake almost a full twenty-four hours to learn HTML just because I was bored one day.

The guys don't care that I'm memorizing the 3.5 MM. I'm not even the one with the most memorized; Dan has that covered.

Now that I've been hanging out with them, I feel great.

Things I miss about FGCU

• riding my bike at 4am around campus. There's just so much physicality about it. All I can do in Gainesville is walk the twenty feet from the couch to the kitchen and back. It isn't enough.
• the noise in the dorms. I could never get anything done there cause of the loudness but the constant motion was calming.
• The short distances involved getting anywhere. Ma and I are at the ass end of the complex. It's a mile to get to the bus stop at all.
• The schedule. I dont got one here and its hurting me. I need to get back to working on something and having it matter. There's only so much you can draw or so much fiction you can write.
• The classes. I miss calling ma after I got out from every sociology class cause Dr OBryan was seriously amazing.
• My friends. I don't have someone to just talk with... I want to talkthings out and there is no one there. I miss the random musings and the days we'd all head out to the beach because we could. Over the summer our friendship, once strong, just seemed to die. It wasn't the same.
• I miss yall.
• I don't know anymore.
